The Kehrs go to Grandma's for Christmas Week
Grandma's house is so comfortable and lovely we could not have asked for a better Christmas week. She is a wonderful hostess and we loved every minute with her.

Here's what we did...

relaxed and read

laid around and laughed

Great Grandma took the girls to the dollar store for private time and a treat

made gingerbread man cookies

did some chores

got some fresh air in the crisp 47 degrees

looked through the boxes and books of photos
learned lots of family history
heard many wonderful of stories

took a big fancy bubble bath

played a couple good games of Monopoly as we sat by the 'fire'

and played some tic-tac-toe.

Tuesday night we went to Downtown Disney with Dean and Maria
It was such a blast being together that we didn't even notice our toes freezing.
Dinner at Pei Wei helped warm us up.

We enjoyed many delicious meals made by grandma
She has a magical touch in the kitchen.
Every bite was heavenly.
to name a few...

blt soup when we arrived at 11pm Christmas night
(a perfect meal after a long -10 hour- road trip)

perfect french toast

chicken and noodles after church
with mashed potatoes and yummy salad

Jonathan made a couple meals to share with Grandma.

He made our favorite Zuppa Tuscana soup for a lunch.

And he made his famous bbq ribs on Tuesday night when Dean, Maria and her mom joined us.

Wednesday night we dined at Deans and oh, what a treat that was!
The meal was amazing!

Coconut Shrimp Soup
Arugula and Watercress salad with watermelon, pine nuts, feta and a citrus dressing
Divine Quiche
Parmesan Wheat Toast
and
delicious Italian Cream Sodas

for dessert
Cream Puffs with a homemade Ganache drizzle
Every bite was pure goodness.
Thank you Uncle Dean!

The girls put on a little talent show after dinner.

It was quite the party night

It was a dreamy week.
We will cherish the time we spent with Grandma last week.

It is a blessing to live this close to her.

Thank you for every moment you gave to us Grandma.
Thank you for all your kindness and attention.
We already miss you like crazy and look forward to our next visit. Merry Christmas!
We love you.
