This little pond with alligators and turtles is just inside the lobby of the Gaylord Palms resort which is like a botanical garden...so very cool. What a great place to work. Maria is very excited.

Where is Orlando in relation to where you live, ie. miles or driving time? Isn't it on the other side of the world? Do they let employee's use the honeymoon suite for free? Will she be full time and have difficulty getting off for trips, So. Cal musicals, cruises, etc? Will she be nights and weekends to start?

Glad to see that the children are doing well and are about to spread their little wings and leave the nest. I wonder if the kids or parents will return next year to the same nest?

Actually, Gaylord Palms is in Kissimee...only 12 miles from our house...kinda close to Disney. She will be working full time and yes, difficult to get away on the spur of the moment for theater attendance, cruises, etc. As far as her schedule, she will start on the 3-11pm shift...which she thinks she will like as she is not a morning person.

Better than serving drinks at Hooter's and if she is working the front desk, you can always visit if you miss her too much.....Ken
